In many, if not most states, the campaign season has already begun.
To have a louder voice in the party platforms, who gets party support in political races, the general direction of your county and state, etc., become active NOW.
Many of these issues will be broadly decided this month!
Participation in your local party structure will give you much greater access to candidates, a direct conversation with them regards our issues may pay off if they win their race.
You may find a candidate worthy of support, you will almost certainly find several candidates to work against.
No other form of political contact trumps direct conversation.
This does not have to be overly time consuming or expensive, "Grass-Roots" is mostly volunteer, it is also the foundation of our form of government. |

In Nevada we really need to keep Dean Heller in the assembly, and dump Harry Reid from the senate.
Reid is portraying Sharon Angle as "Too Extreme", but I've spoken with her on several occasions, she merely supports the Constitution as written.
I am far more "Extreme" than she is.
She supports our RKBA without reservation, Pinky Reid cynically plays sly partisan games with it.
Dingy Harry does not support our Constitution, he is a big brother statist and eco-nut who wants to run EVERY facet of our lives from Washington. |
