hi all, this is my first post here and wanted to ask a question about a form1.
i've recently become interested in making a short barrel rifle and i'm have my paperwork filled out and ready to mail.
my question is, when i was a teenager many years ago i was stupid and got a DUI and misdemeaner marijuana charge.
will they deny my form1 for this?
if they will i would rather just save myself the trouble of sending off the forms.
thanks |

but will if the matter was recent, or not fully resolved.
To be sure you may want to invest a relatively few dollars with a legal service or lawyer to get the record expunged.
Examples.
Unpaid parking ticket goes to warrant, applicant gets denied.
Paid parking ticket is never entered into the system as having been paid (pretty common) and applicant gets denied until they prove the ticket was paid.
This is similar to your credit score, it is important that your "record" be accurate.
You cannot trust Gov. Org. to have perfect records, particularly if you have relatives with names very similar to yours!
IE, George's the II, and you are George's the III.
Hope this helps. |
