| I am having some minor problems with the ATF, but I feel they are purposely abusing their power. I sent in my form 4s, on April 25th, in yesterday's mail arrives a notice that the paperwork was not complete because I had black and white photos, not color photos. For starters, I have almost always been using black and white with no problem, and no where can I find that it specifies color photos. Secondly, I find it amusing that it came onyl several days before the 90 day period, and on this paper, it says an application cannot be started until it is complete, which I read to mean I will be waiting another 90 days at least. This is absurd, and I would like to get my state Congressional leaders involved. I know in the past, members from here have contacted their Congressional members about transfer problems. Does anyone have a form letter, that I could at least use as a starting point? I know several have made mention of educating the Congressional leader(s) on the laws and NFA ownership. So, if someone has something to that ends already completed, and doesn't midn sharing it, I would be greatfully appreciative. Also, is it better to contact Senators than House of Reps? Should I contact both, or only one or the other? Thanks for any and all assistance. |
